Telemetry & Automation

Rocky Mountain Communication Systems approach to telemetry has involved the use of Kimray's RTU products. With Kimray's fifty plus years of oil & gas production and control experience we are confident in the use of their products. By combining field proven remote terminal units (RTUs) with our ground based spread spectrum radio systems or satellite based systems, and our Cygnet host. We offer a complete solution to virtually any automation need.

REMOTE TERMINAL UNITS

Kimray's family of RTUs form the centerpiece of Kimray's automation products. The DACC 3000, 2000, & 500 RTUs all share the same basic microprocessor based design, memory, controls, and operating system. Each model provides different I/O (input/output) interface and communications configurations.

With our communication experience, we have been able to provide a thourough solution for Networked PLCs and have deployed PLC systems that can share IO with miles between them, we currently have solutions for up to 50 radio networked PLC using RS 485 systems and modbus.
